Dobrae (dough-bray) Castle is an 80 room hotel that incorporates a chapel/ballroom, great hall (dining, restaurant), enclosed garden and a library, all incorporated into one complex designed to look and feel like a 16th Century European Castle.

Complete with a dry moat, working drawbridge and stone accents, this modern construction building is set on a sprawling campus with room for hiking trails, horseback riding, jousting, archery and more.

Across from the main entrance to the castle will be a period authentic artisans’ village which will incorporate a smaller tavern style eatery, cobbler, carpenter, blacksmith, weaver and more.

A chapel on location and spacious ballroom will serve as a destination location for weddings and large social events.

This location is designed to attract patrons who enjoy going to Renaissance Festivals as well as those looking for a unique venue.

The entire locale will be designed/built to look like it was picked up 500 years ago and dropped into the modern-day Appalachian foothills.
